Ooh La La, what a beautiful sight. Another batch of our delicious Door County Cherry soap on the drying racks. Customers ask: "Why do you make yours the way you do? It's really pretty but doesn't it take a lot of time?" Yes, it does take extra time, but it's worth it. Most cherry fragrances discolor soap to an undesirable tan or brown. We like our red and white look and from the way it sells, it seems our customers do too. So we are happy to do the extra work (plus our secret extra step) to make an extra special Door County product. Thanks for your support!
We've ordered a new tool for next years product lineup. It's a bath bomb press from Soap Equipment .com, some really nice folk that make equipment for the handmade soap making industry. That actually encompasses a lot of handmade products for personal care like lotions, lip balms and the like. So watch for news of product announcements in the future.
